Cake of the week – “Pink and Blush Gold Roses” by Rosalind Miller

When I stumbled across this phenomenal cake design by Rosalind Miller at the Designer Wedding Show, reviving my “cake of the week” post was a no brainer. So here’s a bit of an Under the Vintage Veil exclusive – this is Rosalind’s latest design. I hope you all love it as much as I do! Here’s Rosalind to say a few words about the inspiration behind this masterpiece.

“Pink and Blush Gold Roses was inspired by my grandmothers beautiful tea set of delicate pink china with gold banded edges, and some gorgeous antique fabric roses. The handmade sugar roses are based on old English country roses, and are dusted with edible gold lustre.

What a beauty eh? I love the idea of a vintage china-inspired cake, and in two of my very favourite colours!!
